At the beginning of the ceremony, a video titled "Gratitude to Jiaotong University & Farewell to Jiaotong University," filled with heartfelt graduation speeches from international students, was played. The students reflected on their academic journey at Jiaotong University with sincere words, capturing both focused moments of studying professional knowledge in the classroom and honing skills in practical training, as well as cultural experiences like making dumplings on the winter solstice and eating mooncakes during the Mid-Autumn Festival. These precious scenes stitched together the warm memories of their cross-border studies, while their heartfelt confessions of "Thank you, Jiaotong University" and "Farewell, Jiaotong University" moved everyone present, blending applause and emotion in the hall.
The award ceremony was simple yet solemn. The head of the Party Committee's Propaganda Department announced the "Decision on Commending Outstanding Graduates of the 2026 International Student Cohort," which was filled with recognition and praise for the outstanding students. Representatives from the Student Affairs Office and Academic Affairs Office presented the awardees with certificates of honor and academic supplies—a reward for their past efforts and a pledge for their future endeavors. The heads of the School of Automotive Engineering, School of Transportation Management, and School of Electronic Information Engineering awarded graduation certificates to their respective student representatives. From being unfamiliar with Chinese as a newcomer, to now being proficient in customs and foreign trade knowledge, Jiao Tong University has been the warmest harbor on my growth path. "Song Yangtong, a 2023 Laotian international student, spoke as a representative of the graduating class with gratitude in her eyes.
